Tesla is Australia’s Most Affordable Electrical Car
The tesla model 3 sedan is known as the most affordable electric car in Australia. It was put on the market about a year ago and has had its price hike for the second time in a year.

The Tesla Model 3 now ranges between $73 900 for the base model standard range price plus on the road costs. That is, it has had an increase of $6 000 from the previous cost of $67 900 in the late of 2019 with the addition of on-road costs.
Moreover, it has had $7 900 increase from the initial launch price in mid-2019 of $66 000 plus on the road costs. On the other hand, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range is now pegged at $91 613 without on-road costs.
While the flagship Tesla Model 3 Performance now costs $102 013 plus on-road costs. The two models have each had a price rise of $2 000 in comparison to their list prices recently.
Tesla Price Cover Upgrades?
As per norm the Tesla, price increase do not really include change of equipment or upgrades. As the Elon Musk, the Tesla boss was quoted saying in 2019, “We don’t do model years. We just roll in improvements as they come.”
Tesla Model 3 Features and Specs
The Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus (rear-wheel-drive) has a maximum speed of 225km/h topped with a New European Driving Cycle-certified (NEDC) range of 460km/h. Moreover, it has a 0 – 100km/h sprint time of 5.6 seconds.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range (all-wheel-drive) is powered with two separate electrical motors with 620km of range New European Driving Cycle-certified. On top of that, it has a top speed of 233km/h and covers a dash of 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds. It also generates a total of 258kW/509Nm.
Lastly, the Tesla Model 3 Performance shares the exact dual-motor setup of the Tesla Model 3Long Range. However, it has a top speed of 261km/h, a sprint of 0-100km/h in 3.4seconds and NEDC RANGE OF 560km/h. The Tesla Model 3 Performance has 335kW/637Nm combined power out.
